Overview:

Our preschool opened in 1984 in Homewood, IL and moved to our Glenwood, IL location in 2002. We base our program on giving quality childcare. This is reflected in our limited class sizes. We offer half-day, full-day, and extended day opportunities.

At Living Springs, we promote a positive learning experience, where spiritual formation is valued through the practice of biblical principles, and early childhood development is nurtured in a fun, safe and loving environment.

We Value:

  • Spiritual Formation - We assist in laying a biblical foundation where children learn that God created everything, God loves them all the time, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

  • Safety - Safety is a basic human need that is required of all children before learning can take place.  Our classrooms are clean, well-organized, and inviting. Children are supervised with a teacher to student ratio of 1:8 to promote effective classroom monitoring. Classroom doors are always locked from the outside, and can only be accessed by school personnel. Fire and tornado drills are administered monthly.

  • Relationships - At Living Springs Preschool, we value our parent, student, and community relationships. We understand that these very important partnerships will positively impact a child’s education, and cause all members to feel more valued, confident, and respected.

  • Growth & Development - Each child is viewed as unique and the curriculum is designed to appeal to their different learning styles and individual needs. Our goal is to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities. These activities are aligned with the Early Learning and Development Standards for Illinois, which are established by the Illinois State Board of Education.
