Christian Based Care
The Living Springs Preschool is a ministry outreach of Living Springs Community Church. Our program is devoted to sharing the love of Christ with our students and their families. Through sharing our lives, prayer, and Bible stories, children learn that God created everything, God loves them all the time, and Jesus wants to be their friend forever.
 
      Flexible Scheduling
Families may choose to schedule their child for 2, 3, or 5 days of childcare. We offer half-day, full-day, and extended day opportunities.
 
      Devoted Staff
Our qualified and experienced staff is devoted to the safety and development of each child in their care. They show a commitment to life-long learning by participating in annual professional development. Each of them demonstrates the skill and competence that is necessary to contribute to each child’s physical, intellectual, personal, emotional, and social development.
 
We also have a team teaching approach, which allows for improved learning outcomes. This offers increased student-teacher interactions, as well as multi-dimensional perspectives on education.

      Nutritious Snacks & Lunches
Children are offered fresh fruits and vegetables. Lunches are kid friendly and our menu items provide an opportunity for children to try new foods. Throughout the year, the teachers will assist the children in making their own snacks, or create snacks to fit the theme.

      Areas for Large Motor
Our facility has a fenced-in outdoor playground, which includes a climbing structure, multiple slides, bouncy seats, playhouses, tables and an open space to run and play. We block off a portion of the parking lot for bikes, trikes, and scooters.
 
The church grounds also include large grassy fields on either side of the building. Children can run farther, play Frisbee, and pick flowers for their moms and dads. Also, in snowy weather, our hills provide sledding fun! 

When the weather does not permit outdoor play, we bring our large motor activities into our indoor gymnasium, where the children play with balls, hula hoops, and scooters, just to name a few.

      Year-round Programs
We offer two programs. Our fall program is from September to May. Summer Discovery Camp begins in June and goes thru August. In the summer, sign up for some or all sessions...whatever works best for your schedule!

      DCFS Licensed
Our program has been licensed by the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services since 1984. Standards are consistently maintained to meet requirements by this licensing agency.
