Overview:

Our program is dedicated to meet the needs of the whole child, emphasizing intellectual, physical, social, and emotional growth.  This is achieved through engaging in language arts, mathematics, science, social studies, the arts, health, and social-emotional development.
Our curriculum is updated and revised annually by the director and teachers. We  teach social skills such as sharing, respect and manners. The curriculum encourages a love for music and creativity through singing, dance and art. We emphasize language development through book reading, story writing (dictated to teachers) and fingerplays. Curiosity is fostered through hands-on science and math activities. Large motor activities are planned each day. Through the sharing of ourselves, Bible stories, and prayers, we teach the children basic Christian principles.

During our 9-month program in the Fall, we have two classrooms. Each classroom's learning environment is established to confirm the child’s sense of identity and belonging. Both classes utilize a structured routine, as children learn best when they can predict expectations in their environments.

Each classroom setting has learning centers that promote curiosity, exploration, and discovery. These centers include:
  • blocks
  • dramatic play
  • small manipulatives
  • sensory play
  • art
  • library
  • science
  • music
  • trucks

Children learn the balance between free choice and structured activities to foster responsibility, self-regulation, and confidence.

Alpha Classroom:

The 3 year-old, Alpha, class is limited to 16 children with two teachers. To begin on the first day of school, students must be 3 years old by September 1st and independently potty trained. In the event that there is space available, kiddos who turn 3 after September 1st may register mid year.

Beta Classroom:

The 4 year-old, Beta, class is limited to 20 children with two teachers and one classroom assistant. This classroom is dedicated to children who are 4 years old by September 1st. The curriculum in this classroom builds upon the foundation that was set in the Alpha classroom, and prepares students for their next transition into Kindergarten.

Before & After School Program:

We offer a Before School Program, which begins at 8am.  The regular school day starts at 9am and ends at 3pm. Our After School Program is from 3pm - 5pm. Typical activities include large motor, and cooperative games.

Lunch / Snack Program:

Children who attend the full day program are served 2 snacks and 1 lunch, which are all prepared on-site, in accordance to the nutrition guidelines that are required for healthy growth and development. Food preparation is supervised by a state-certified food service manager. Students sharpen their self-help and social skills through our family-style serving approach. Children learn to serve themselves and work together to share each dish amongst everyone at the table.

Summer Discovery Camp:

Summer Discovery Camp is a 10-week program for children ages 3 to 6. Register for all or some of these fun-filled weeks. Some of our themes include Camping, Insects, and Gardening. Weather permitting, we spend most of our days outdoors, engaging with nature and exploration. We also incorporate water days and bike days throughout.
